"Art is born through patience; patience matures through the work."

When Ayhan Güneş discovered filography in 2013, he knew that this rooted craft would offer him a lifelong journey. Over more than a decade, he has created over 500 works.

His repertoire ranges from calligraphy and Ottoman motifs to portraits and Anatolian landscapes. Every work is born from the patient union of wood, nails and wire.

Today, as one of eight filography masters in Türkiye officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, he continues to create in his studio and introduce children in village schools to this art.
